Description:
At this program Dr. Leibovici will be reviewing the basics of how CBCT imaging works. There will be comparisons made between CBCT and traditional plain films and the advantages of CBCT images for identifying oral and maxillofacial pathology. He will review CBCT imaging for implant evaluation and furthermore how it can aid in the treatment planning process with the restorative dentist and lab technicians. He will also review live cases and examples of CBCT imaging being utilized within the digital work flow for full arch treatment planning.

Learning Objectives:

1) CBCT Basics - how it works

2) Compare and contrast CBCT to traditional films (ie- panoramic, peri apical views)

3) Understand and identify landmarks and basic skeletal anatomy

4) Use of CBCT in oral and maxillofacial evaluation

5) CBCT imaging for implant evaluation

6) Surgical and prosthetic treatment planning with lab technicians

7) Use of CBCT for guided surgery

8) Current concepts of CBCT usage with digital work flow for full arch treatment planning

9) Case presentation and open discussion
